AnnaLiisa Gison

AnnaLiisa is currently completing her master of arts at OCADU, Toronto, in the Contemporary Art, Design and New Media Art Histories (CADN) program. She holds an honours, specialist bachelor of arts degree with distinction in Art & Art History from University of Toronto as well as an advanced diploma in art history from Sheridan Collage. Her research focuses on the intersection between contemporary art and religion. She draws attention to the under-interpretation of religious faith in contemporary works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Andres Serrano, Chris Ofili, and Mark Wallinger.
